In 1998 one day while working she thought to herself and asked (why don’t I buy this business; I was doing all the heavy sewing anyway.  Then doubt started to creep in so she did nothing and decided to pray for direction.  The answer was always there, she was just a little afraid to step out.  So, in October of 1999 she took a leap of faith and after much thought and prayer purchased Flags by Lynn.  She moved the business home and set up shop.  The phones never stopped ringing, and being a one-person business is not always easy, but she was able to keep the pace, and she never missed a deadline.   In 2015 after 35 years of sewing and designing she decided to retire and hang up her needle and thread.  Yes, she retired her 1950 Pfaff Sewing machine.
