Urban TV Network Corp Mourns the Passing of Rock N Roll Icon Tina Turner. We are deeply saddened by the passing of legendary singer, songwriter, actress and author Tina Turner. After a career spanning six decades, it was announced that Ms. Turner has passed away at the age of 83. Ms. Turner passed on Thursday morning in Switzerland surrounded by her family and friends. She suffered a long battle with ill health.
Ms. Turner rose to fame in the 1960s as half of the duo Ike & Tina Turner. She went on to become one of music’s most recognizable figures. Often referred to as “The Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll”. Her unique voice and presence captivated audiences around the globe with her iconic hits such as “Simply the Best” and “Private Dancer”.
Her influence extended far beyond music. Ms. Turner was an advocate for women’s rights and used her platform to share messages of empowerment with her fans. She became a symbol of resilience and strength. In her story of overcoming adversity in both her personal and professional life.
Urban TV Network Corp wishes to extend its deepest condolences to Ms. Turner’s family and friends during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
